Luis,

Fetching young lass, definitely!

It looks as if your shot is just a tad bit overexposed: witness her hair on the photo's right side, and the lack of detail on her top under her left shoulder, inside of her right thigh. You should be seeing as much detail in those spots as you see on the top covering her left breast.

If you shot RAW, you might try dropping the expsoure down a stop and see if you regain some of the detail.

Otherwise.. nice image!

Luis,

First off, fantastic model and great pose. To me, the background is distracting and the bizar light flare around the left side of the skirt doesn't seem natural. The other thing is that the lighting on the skirt and tush seem to be a half to a full stop more than her face. I'd try to even out the light so that there is equal emphasis on the face and tush. Otherwise, great shot.

I really like the playfulness of the model. The setting is a great idea. I think if you look at the histogram you will see two things. It appears that there is no true black in the photo and also there is a slight over exposure of the white in her shirt. The over exposure in her shirt is probably not fixable because the loss of data of things that are over 255. just some thoughts from a non pro.

thanks for sharing... Jim

Great model. Setting looks familiar. Overall the image is a little too soft for my taste. Playful pose is fun though. She's an excellent model to work with.

Okay, where does she go to school? I'd like to go there. Anyways, the image is great, I love the playfulness of the model. The only gripe that I have isn't really a big one, and may just be my monitor, but I'd like to see a bit more conrast in the pic. It's just me though.

Nice shot Louis. There are a lot of things about this image I like. What you're posting is getting nicer. Are you shooting your own stuff, yet, or are you still posting workshop images?

However, the framing to me could've been a little better. If her place your finger on her head and draw a line from there down her nose, you'll see that naturally your line keeps on going down her shoulder and arm, then the leg. To me that splis the image in half. I would like this better framed with her more to the right of the image so the line seperates the picture into thirds. I know, I know, it's a rule and I am all about breaking them, but here I don't think it works.

Wayne,

I did shoot in raw. I'll give your suggestion a try. The lighting wasn't quite right.... This was my first foray into the world of glamour and studio lighting and I still have alot to learn.

Thanks,

Luis

Allen,

It was an old bowling alley and the light flare was reflection from the bowling ball trough. I see what you mean though. Thanks for the suggestion to even out the lighting.

Jim,

Michelle is a great model. I appreciate the feedback. I shot in raw and I think I overexposed the white shirt while bring up the rest of the photo. I'll have to go back and fix that. Besides learning to shoot glamour I'm also building up my PS skills although I'd much rather get it right direct form the camera. Thanks,

Luis
