Okay guys I have been hanging around this site for awhile. It's time to start learning from the experience. Any critiques will be greatly appreciated.

Valerie's a cutie. Good photo!! My only nitpick would be getting some more light on her eyes and maybe the teeth. You can dodge those in photoshop to give them a little more brightness if you like. All in all, I like it

Allen P. recommends dodging which, I guess is okay if you must and it's probly your only "save" with this image. But I think you'll be better off (in the future) getting some more front-fill (gold reflector would have worked well with this shot), especially when the model's getting hit so hard with backlight.

I don't know Jimmy. I think that maybe some white bounce (fill) just to pop the eyes would have been sufficient. It's a nice shot, but a little roo dark I agree.

you might be right. maybe he could have done both (white foamcore to pop out the eyes and get some more exposure in the front, gold to make the skin radiate bronze since it looks like it's shot somewhere near or in golden hour)
