The first one is very nice, however a little soft. I think you can unsharp mask or sharpen it just a bit as it may be soft from depth of field in the original or it could be just from downsizing it for web. I really like it though...
The image with Summer the reflector is too low. If this is the case position your model to lean forward a little and bring down the chin just a little to allow the lighting to fill in better. Lighting from underneath tends to give just a little horror lighting effect. I wish I was there when you done this particular shot. It takes just a little tweaking to pose the model to make it work perfect from underneath reflecting.
As far as my shot. I love it. Very creative and I felt very comfortable modeling for you even though it was really the first for me to step in front of the camera. I will keep my day job though and leave that to the actual models but it was fun filling in while the models who didn't show and the models in make up, to allow the workshop to flow with educational reasons.
Glad you made the workhsop and sorry that you had to leave early and catch your flight.
