This is Melissa. We shot on Saturday and are shooting again this week. Comments are appreciated as always.

Nice! One thought -- the way her lips are meeting the plant stem, it looks like she has a hidden straw in the bouquet!

Overall I like it. Lighting is good. Since she is contemplative on her wedding day I would have preferred to see a small smile start turning the corners of her mouth upward and a widening of the eyes. More that she is happy about the thoughts she is having. Keep shootin', keep postin'.

I was browsing the forum and noticed your reqest for critque. I'm new to the board and this is actually my first post.

I agree with the previous posts and would like to add just a couple of small things that I think may improve the image.

1. It's not a big deal but I would remove the bobby pin from sight.
2. The area around her eyes is a little dark and could be softened slightly
3. Color balance is sometimes very subjective but I took a little yellow out.
4. I would definitly like to see more of her eyes (stated in previous posts).
5. And I would like to see a little distance between her lips and the flowers (stated in previous posts).

A quick edit

Hmmm....I'm thinking .....it could use a soft focus filter..over the lens..and perhaps a reflector under the face...to bounce some light up... other than that,....make-up could have been a little better.. I am just nit convinced that this is a wedding type portrait..where the bride has a make-over...and looks really special..

Unless this is how you wanted it to look..

?

JP (ps at least she showed up...unlike that one model who blew you off..)

Here's Melissa.....she's checking you out..

Thanks for the comments JP. Actually, I didnt like the light setup and I didnt care for the shot all that much... I was just curious what others would think. I think the flaws I saw in this shot have been confirmed now. It was shot in a rushed setup and I had no idea that we were shooting that type of shot until she came out wearing it. Thanks again for the comments. I appreciate it.
