I sometimes have problems with shooting high-key images, but I think I may have hit the nail on the proverbial head.

I like the lighting and and most other technical aspects of the shot. I think the focus looks a bit soft or maybe it is some jpg artifacts. Nice job and thanks for sharing it.

i like the shot too.

it's simple and cool. the books were a good idea...
love the high heels too. did you shoot some where
she had the book open and was looking up at you...
or where she had reading glasses and a fountain pen etc.

anywhy when i shoot high key and the background is not
blown out like i like then i just bump up the "highlight tone"
then if that washes out any color i bump up the "saturation"

hope ya don't get mad, but i did it to yours just to
show you what i mean... save it and look at them side by side.
