Hello Frank,

First, I am not an expert nor do I play one on television. I will chime in with my half cent's worth nevertheless.

First, she is a very attractive lady and I think your images of her are good. I do think you should have a hair light on her in the images with a dark background. Maybe even a seperation light or a kicker light to make her stand out a bit more from the background. Something also bothers me about her ear rings in the last shot. For some reason they unduly attract my attention.

Again, these are just subjective observations. I hope you find some value in them.

Daryl

Frank...

Great shots... I like the last one...

So a question?

Are you shooting on clear plexie glass on top of seamless paper??

Are you PSing out the line where the plexie would show up??

If not what is the set made up of?? Thanks

Chris

Hi,
Thanks so much for the comments, I'm only shooting models for 6 months now so I'm on a learning curve.

I use clear plexiglass or mirrors sometimes, and indeed I PS all the lines out.

I just discovered hairlights so will be using them a lot more .

Greetings,
Frank

Frank,
They are all nicely done...I like 5 & 6 the best. I know there is a limit to your space to pose but be careful when you crop the legs. The knees and ankles are the worst parts to cut. The glass, colors and lighting are great.

Frank,

Ya both SHOULD love 'em.. very pretty images!

Already mentioned: the cropping and the hairlight.

In comparing #1 and #6, it appears as if you were a little bit closer to her and used a wider focal length on #6 - the effect enlarges the shoe and leg just enough to put her out of proportion with the first image.. something I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been able to compare the two. But, since I can... it really jumps out at me, now.

Another thing I'm trying to get better at.. the jewelry on #3 is a bit distracting.

I love the reflective look and understand you used plexiglass and the seamless.. how big of a sheet of plexiglass was it? More details and maybe an overall shot showing the setup, please?

Hi,
I use 2 plexiglass boards of 1x2mtrs and I PS the line in the middle.

I use 3 flashes, mostly one for the background and 2 for the model.

I did use a wideangle indeed to get the whole reflection in the shot, I will take care next time.

Thanks for all the comments.

Greetings,
Frank
