Eve,

I think it is one of your best non-fetish shots. You are a living doll, and every picture of you I see only confirms my thoughts that you are one of the best.

I to have a new fav. here on GG. Great composition, subject matter, choice in colours, accesories. The whole image works and makes you just stop and look at it again and again. Everytime seeing something new in it...to me thats a sign of a great pic. Great job to all involved. Look forward to more.

Hi Eve,

I don't mean to offend you Eve as I think you are one of the best fetish/vintage models around so I hope you'll take this in the positive manner I mean it to be but, to me, the picture, especially your face, seems to be overly retouched (smoothed). There's no crease between your nose and mouth. It looks like someone took a picture of an Eve Ellis manequin. I'd like to see the original, I think it would be much more natural looking.

Unless it's intentional, it also has a bit too much of a cyan color cast.

Sincerely,

Robert Jensen

Robert,

No offense taken, I appreciate your honesty With this photo in particular I liked the way it looked smoothed out, similar to a watercolor. Obviously I couldn't do that with all my pix or I'd never get anything done! Just my own personal taste these days but I tend to find naturalism (at least in my own photos) kind of boring and like a little punch to things. Reminds me of a great quote I read earlier this week about Walt Disney & Photoshop:

"Walt figured there was no point in creating...if all you intended to do was slavishly adhere to the dictates of real life. The same argument can be made for digital image editing. What's the point of going through all the trouble of getting a digital image and opening it up in Photoshop if you're not going to take it beyond the boundaries of real life in the process? In a word, none. In a few more words...there's no reason not to make every image you create more real than reality."

Anyway, I'd be happy to send you a copy of the original so you can take a look at it.

Would love to see it, Eve.

Going with your idea, I seem to recall some shots you did with vinyl and/or latex clothes where this idea would work very well. I think the texture (or lack there of) with vinyl/latex would mesh better with the look you have in the above pic. What do you think?

Greetings! Great image and am glad you're posting here in GG. Welcome and post more of your work! IMHO, you lend an air of classicism to the pictures I've seen of you. Thank-you for sharing
