Today the Spybot program went wild with notices of registry change attempts. At the same time a window appeared notifying me of an update for the Google toolbar. I spent over an hour trying to get everything back to normal. The registry denial windows kept popping up, so I stopped clicking on the Spybot window after about 50 times.

Finally I removed the Google toolbar completely and performed a system restore back to yesterday. Everything seems back to normal, but everything relating to Goole has been removed.. I hope.

Has anyone else had this situation occur?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure Firefox has a built in spell checker... I'm really missing using Linux right now I had something installed that did spell checking on EVERYTHING I could spell check my IMs...
