Here's a image I did a couple weeks ago as part of a portfolio shoot update. All of the lighting on these
images was done with one Canon 580EXII Speedlite off camera in a small soft box.

Technical Stuff:
Canon 5D Mark II
Lens: Canon 85 mm 1/100 sec @ f2, ISO 100
Lighting: 580 EX II in ETTL mode
Camera Exp Comp: -2/3rd

I was going to create a full video on this session, but had a few snags and just ended up with a quick little
behind-the-scenes video. I have posted it on my blog... Stop by the blog and let me know what you think. I need
blogging encouragement. I will blog everyday... I will blog everyday... I will blog everyday... I will blog
everyday... I will blog everyday... I will blog everyday...

Mike:

While I do not subscribe to the strobist mentality this is a great shot. Did you have an assistant holding the speedlight or were you holding it at arms length.

It looks like you did some work in post production and you did well, not getting carried away with the effects. Please post more of your images here in the Forums and if you would care to share the steps you took to get the final product we would all benefit from it.

I see from your Bio that you Jacksonville, FL. I am your Southwest neighbor living in Tampa, FL. Welcome to the neighborhood.
