Lenses not only change perspective and composition of a photo they may also change your signature look....sometimes for the better!

For many years I have shoot with the Nikon 70-200mm F2.8, it was my go to lens and my comfort zone. I've been forcing myself to use the 85mm 1.4 more and more, I love the look I get with this lens....but why don't I grab it from the get go?

I want the canon 85 1.8. The 1.2 is WAY out of my budget.

I love the 85, and it does make you work your feet more, compared to the 70-200.

Love the 85mm f1.4. Rented it for the shot below.

The 85 is a bit pricey at first glance, but looking at these photos I need to invest in one!

The Canon 85mm F/1.2 lens is my favorite lens, I use the heck out of it, in fact brought it with me here at the Seattle workshops I just taught this weekend. Before anyone buys the Nikon or Canon 85mm lenses, you might want to read this, already over 15,000 views, http://www.lensdiaries.com/blog/phot...es-canon-85mm/ all the best, headed back to Texas to get ready for the Moab photography workshop/shoot. rg sends!
