As you might know, I shoot a lot of pretty girls. A lot of them are blonds. They range from dirty dishwater blonds to shiny, near-white, platinum blonds with all shades of blond in between.

As you might also know, I shoot a lot of glamour and tease. Shooting glamour and tease means I often shoot with accent lights. Those accent lights require factoring in things like hair color (and more) when I'm setting and adjusting my lights. Blonds often present the most challenging subjects when it comes to accent lights. Is that "blond" or "blonde"

A word of advice from a prolific writer, always use the AP (Associated Press) Style-Guide, which states, "Use blond as a noun for males and as an adjective for all applications. She has blond hair. Use Blonde as a noun for females."

Hope you're doing well my friend, all the best, rg sends!

LOL! You're right. Conventional style says blond for men, blonde for women. I even own a hard copy of AP's guide... as well as Strunk & White Elements of Style and one or two others. Course, if you really wanna get technical, dictionaries say blond can also be used for females, either as a noun or an adjective. And my spell checker doesn't like the word "blonde" and corrects it to "blond." Blame the French. That's where the word comes from.
