I was on MM just a bit ago and there's an ad for Portrait Professional showing the before/after effect of this program. While I don't have any disagreement with the blemish removal, skin softening and such what I do have an issue with is the facial structure remapping. I don't believe we should mess with this especially if we are using Models who may post the results and the next photographer is expecting the 'after' not the 'before' to show up for their shoot.

Are we doing a disfavor to the next photog in line?

IMO, most assuredly. How many of the people seeking work as models on MM actually show decent head and body shots? Even without "alterations," you often can't really judge their appearances from their images.

The trouble is the majority of the models on the internet have never had any training, nor heard of a comp card. Most of the photographers running around the net probably don't know what one is either. I believe the first image in a models portfolio online should be some sort of comp card, then they could post all the artsy farts retouched stuff they want.
