Before and after. Removing blemishes and evening out skin tone with the Patch tool and the Healing brush tool in Photoshop.

What's the secret in getting such even skin tones using the patch tool & healing brush in Photoshop? What's the settings?

Thanks, Skip

The Patch tool doesn't have a setting that can be changed but the Healing brush does. The shape can be changed from round to eliptical and hardness of the tool can be changed based on a percentage of how much of the texture it being applied. Mine is currently set at 20%. The higher the percentage the more it will copy that texture. During the process of using both of these tools it may tend to even out the coloring a little but not the same as using the Clone stamp tool which copies color more than texture.
