Well, I popped ovver and looked at the new site. What happened to just making a simple forum? I don't have time in the day to wade through all the rest of the stuff and I'm sure others don't either. Is the idea to finish killing GG? *sigh*

And, Rolando, why lock threads when you announce something? Not wanting feedback? I've gotten to where I ignore most of the announcemnts and just mark things read and move on. If comments aren't wanted, why post to begin with?

Dan,

First and foremost, that is not "GG" you're looking at, that's another site using the underlying software that will run the new look of GG. Second, I don't have time right now to answer every thread. If you'd like to see another example of the underlying software, just go to http://www.tfcdphoto.com/

IF your goal is the forum only and and you don't even want to upload photos, then click on the "Forums" link on the top of the menu and ignore everything else--works real easy. I hope that helps, gotta run, thanks, rg sends!

Well Rolando I clicked the link http://www.tfcdphoto.com/ and one of the first things I noticed was a link of:

XxX meet the incredible F***merunning video

Is this gonna be something visitors and members will need to become accustomed to on that site?

Since I didn't click the link, I have no idea what it is or where it goes or whose site it is. There were some other links with XxX titles, which all appear to be videos posted by members, I guess.

First and foremost, I don't run TFCD, they use the software we are going to use, hence the reference of that site. Yes, we have a tie with the person that runs that and do our best to help when we can. Thanks, rg.

My mistake. I thought that was your new site, but I re-read the post.

Thanks for the clarification.

This forum seems more dead then it has been in a long time and needs something to kickstart it again unless the Forum owners are wanting to dump it. However that in my opinion is a slap in the face to everyone who paid lifetime membership fees.

Wish everyone the best if I dont see you elsewhere. I am frustrated, as all can be. This year has been a cruddy one at that. First the economy, the Chicago workshop got canceled, flooding and lost thousands of dollars in stuff including washer, dryer, water heater, furnace. Now my father is in the hospital. What in the world did I do to deserve this Karma.
