If you are doing product, still life, landscapes or anything that does not involve talking to your 'model' (other than cursing.
) then practice, practice, practice. You are young enough not to have to worry about such menial things like...food, shelter, health care costs
that you should have the time to do this.
If you are going to work primarily with 'real live girls' try posting your name as an assistant to other shooters. You'll gain LOADS of experience, especially if you snag a good shoot with someone who knows how to (1) talk to the model and keep their enthusiasm up and (2) give clear concise directions. Do not (a) show up to the shoot with your gear unasked for and (b) do not ask to bring your gear. If invited to do this be mindful that you are there to assist and to learn, not to outshine the primary shooter.
In regards to the model/s, treat them as you would treat your girlfriend...or better your sister...or even better yet, your mother. Respect!
