As many will know, from the various threads I've posted to or responded to, I do have a regular dayjob that only allows me time to do shoots in the evening or weekends (but the job *does* pay for the equipment...a benefit of a steady paycheck.
). So, given time restrictions (mine and models'), lousy winter weather/lighting (no more outdoors shots), and (relatively) high costs for studo rentals, I've not been doing a lot of shooting as of late...which also accounts for me not posting images in my responses.
What I have seen though is a fair amount of great (!) images coming photogs who seem to be fulltime and/or Pro. Now I don't have a problem with this (although it seems to go against the intent of this site...ie. "...Dedicated to those who work full-time to pay their bills while actively pursuing their photographic and modeling passions
...") as I/we still learn from these photogs and their images. Actually, if you read that statement from a different view, *everyone* here seems to fit the 'Vision statement'.
Nevertheless, I do wonder if the weigh scales have shifted towards the non-amateurs which differs from GG in the past.
