As many of you know, I'm a big fan ot the soft, glamorous Playboy style used back in the 80s, so when Shannon contacted me about shooting, I knew she would be the perfect model for this style. Hope you all have a very safe and happy holidays -- stay warm.

And ... if you're still reading this post ... her hair is 100% natural (no extensions) and yes, those are 100% natural (but she wears blue contacts). Now go enjoy the holidays.

Wow, I almost missed your work past the model. The eyes are hair are great....

OK so my mind them went next directly to thinking how I could shoot that hair - somaybe my test levels are low or I am just a photographer.

What camera, lights, shutter speed, f/stop, ISO? What brand of film (or CF card)?

I want to shoot just like this, and I really need to know, because I have a model coming in 15 minutes...

Seriously, very nice, and they do have that "vintage" Playbook look, especially #2. Good to see you again. I see life is still handing out +s for some of you Metroplex photographers.

Yes, yes, She is beautiful and shapely and all that but....the lighting! Wow. Can you go into detail about the setup? I just want to see how much $$$ it would take to get these shots!

Marty rocks!

I'm fortunate enough to shoot a few of his discoveries. Always a pleasure!

Happy Holidays!

As many of you know, I'm cheap and somewhat lazy (actually REAL cheap and a LOT lazy) and don't like to travel with a lot of equipment, so ... the lighting on all these shots came from my three Alien Bees (2-400s and 1-800)

I used a warmer white balance and the room has light brown walls so the reflected light comes back warmer.

Scott rocks! He's an amazing portrait photographer and I'm fortunate that he lets me touch his high-end equipment (that 39MP camera is unbelievable). I'm always happy to share my new "discoveries" with quality photographers.

Happy holidays y'all!
