Hello everyone!

Haven't been very active on this site, more of a lurker...but here is my introduction! I am a NYC based amateur photographer, been into shooting with an SLR since high school with film, now digital...favorite subjects are people! I want my pictures to tell a story and show emotion, and my main goals are to continue to advance in experience and knowledge, especially about lighting and developing a good working connection to my subjects that will set the tone of the resulting images.

A few friends and I made a video last week showing some different lighting techinques used on a TF* shoot outside in downtown NYC. Check it out here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzpS9x__VAI We had a great shoot and the video is pretty entertaining! This is the second time I've worked with Valerie and she is simply stunning!

Would love some feedback here; this is my first venture into video!

Thanks,

-Fred

I really enjoyed the video! Very well done showing the different ways you used the reflectors, flash etc and then showing the resulting images.

Keep 'em coming!

Very cool video, great technique with the stills and the video. What did you use to shoot the video itself?
