This was my first shoot with my Hensels and it was a fun shoot. I also learned a lot from many of my mistakes. The lady (Kasey) posted 3 photos on a contest for her to win 500.00 so if you want to vote, she would appreciate it. The cars were a 71 RoadRunner, 67 Camero RS and a custom painted Harley Davidson. BTW it looks like I will be shooting alot more cars and bikes.

Camera was a Leica R8 with 35-70 mm lens, Kodak Ectar 100 Film. 1/60 second at F4 for the main light.
Main light used was a Hensel Integra Pro 500 watt modified with a 54x72 inch Chimera. To the camera right was a 42 inch soft silver umbrella. I will not use umbrella next time due to light control issues next time.

I am surprised no one has said I did good or bad or help direct me further of what direction to go.

I too have noticed that there is not a lot of assistance given in the forums if someone asks for a review of their photo's. I have not been able to figure out how to upload to the main portfolio yet but hope when I do, there will be more action on what I post.

Anyway, I looked at your images and they look like they are lit pretty well. The model is fine and the Harley is awesome. But I think these would have been really good shots if you could have had a background which isolated the subject more. A garage shot does add ambiance to a photo like this, but the distractions seem to minimize the subject a little. When I first looked, my mind flashed to a nice low key red or burgandy background with a closer crop on the subject. My opinion only but after having several reviews on my work over time, I think this may be limiting the appeal of these photo's.
