I had the incredible pleasure of shooting with Jo yesterday. This was her first professional photoshoot since she was a child model. While she lacks variety in her facial expressions (smile and no smile were the extent) ... and she needed help coming up with different poses, she more than made up for it with her amazingly photogenic looks ... and fun "I'll try anything" attitude.

She left for college today, so she'll be living 5 hours from me ... but she promises another shoot as soon as she comes home for the weekend.

Nikon D700, 28-70 Nikon Lens, SB-800 fill flash in all the pictures. BTW - The two color pictures below were taken in front of some out houses we found near the lake.

Wow...and she's only about a 72-96 hour drive from me!

Really like the first image Marty. A nice "S-shape" to her pose.
She has such beautiful eyes that I wasn't fond of the B&W image. Like to see it in colour.
As for your third image, again a nice "S-shape", but on my monitor it doesn't look as pin sharp at her eyes and teeth. Also, I'm not big on having fingers cropped out of the image. But then that's just my opinion.

But as usual Marty, great lighting, tones, and beautiful model. Can't wait until she comes home for the weekend!

Normally, I use the unsharpen mask as my final step in preparing my images ... but, she asked me to not do that to her images ... she liked them softer looking. Gotta do what the model requests (Hummm ... her eyes may be beautiful to look at, but ... they're not seeing the benefits of sharpening an image). After I give her the CD of her images, I'll sharpen all the ones I keep LOL. Thanks for the comments

I agree about her having beautiful eyes and she has a really nice shape.

I like the 1st photo of her resting against the wall and also the 4th one, that you attached later, of her on a rock. She has very stunning facial features and you did a good job of capturing those.

Sorry ... she's 5 hours West of Dallas.

For what it's worth ... the red building and cobblestone brick wall she's leaning against are both outhouses (roadside bathrooms)!

Here's another look at Jo taken at Lake Grapevine, near Dallas

You MUST send her to me! I'm mesmerized by those eyes!

Love the standing shot on the rocks by the lake. What a smile to go along with those eyes!

Nice work Marty!
