This past Sunday, I ran across a deal on a Buff/Zeus lighting kit that I couldn't pass up. So I bought it. You can read about it here: He Drives! He Scores!

A day or so later, I decided to order the Buff/Zeuss ring light. You can read about that here: Birth of a Ring Lord?

So, am I gonna be happy with the ring light? I think some people here, on the forum, have experience wielding one.

DUDE, after seeing all the pics you've created, YOU, could make great pics with a card board reflector and a pinhole camera!

Jimmie, it will probably be your downfall. I wouldn't even unbox it; just slap a mailing label on it to me and I will save you.

justa_newbie is right; you'll get good images with it for sure. I'm anxious to see them.

It's a versatile tool, be creative with it and don't just blast away with it on the lens.

I use mine off camera, you will find it hard to work with on camera without a long lense. trying to zoom with a short lense is impossible. and holding the unit with camera attached is not very comfortable. but i still love it. i have the moon unit as well.
