Seems like everywhere I look I see advertising campaigns for athletic stuff that have a surealistic, over processed, graphic look ... ya know "that look." So ... here's my first attempt at "that look."

Comments and critiques are always welcome, so ... bring it on!

Well, you certainly got the overprocessed, graphic, almost-painting like look.
Norman Rockwell, a la the comuter age.
Interesting.
Thanks for sharing.

Firstly, whose the model? She is pretty amazing.

And second, Marty, what did you do? I can guess but curious what PS wizardry did you apply?

Firstly, the model is Nattie Chu ... a local personal trainer & triathelete. We've done a couple shoots together, but I don't think she's shot with anyone else, yet.

Here are a few of Nattie without any post processing treatments. As you've no doubt noticed, she has a well toned body and her eyes are so light blue, they look like Husky dog eyes.

As for the PS wizardry ... I combined a lot of different filters and techniques to get that shot, so I'll have to get back to you when I narrow down what were the most effective filters & techniques. Stay tuned.

"...she has a well toned body..."
Bit of an understatement, in my opinion.

Go get the Lucis Art plugin and you're done.

Personally I think it's so 'last year'...

DDCStudios, I do believe that "look" that is often used in magazines is created using the high pass filter. The latest Photoshop User mag had a tutorial in it on that very thing, but I'm sure you could just search for high pass on you most favorite search engine.
Photomart...It appears as if you did the BG separate from the Subject it also appear as if the subject is layered on a video bg. Looks pretty cool! Ok she's pretty cute too!
