I have seen a few posts lately written by people undecided about the merits of attending one of the Garage Glamour advertised Workshops. I attended my first one over the weekend and drove about 500 miles to Philadelphia to attend. I have to say it was a fabulous and rewarding experience. I learned a lot of helpful information from a group of people led by Rolando and Michael Dean that are all passionate about photography.
The Coatesville Studio was just a great learning environment. The models were all beautiful, professional, accommodating and a lot of fun to work with just like all the staff. And I had the opportunity to meet and spend time and discuss shooting and equipment with just a great group of diverse and talented photographers. So if your on the bubble like I was take a step towards a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. You'll be glad you did.

Regards
Dave

Dave,

Thanks for the nice words. It takes a team to make things function and between Michael Dean, Igor, the models, make-up and assistants, we were able to get things accomplished for everyone. Part of that team were the attendees too.

While there are always glitches at any workshop or seminar type event, this workshop seemed almost devoid of all that. Thanks again for all your support and hopefully we'll see you again in the future. Thanks, rg sends!

I would like to vouch for what Hawk has posted here. The excellent instruction was balanced with plenty of time in the studio. The several lighting setups, the models and all the hands on help and advice from the staff was completely professional and generous which created a great learning environment.

Rolando said he wanted us to go away from the workshop knowing we had learned one thing... I'm still counting the things I learned which with practice, practice, and more practice will greatly enhance my shooting.

Thanks for a great weekend. I recommend it to anyone.
