This looks out of focus to me. It could be from to low of ppi, camera shake, or it could be simply out of focus. You may have needed more light so you could have faster shutter speeds of you needed to have used a tripod.

The model with the black or dark dress does not pop out much and seems muted in tone too much from the background. Very pretty girl, nice facial expression and her physique looks good. Composition at this moment does not have any issues for me.

i guess back in thouse days i used to shoot in manualfocus, hence photos used to come out shaky or blurry. but now ive started to use auto focus with the rest of the setting remaining manual. well i hat to fix the posture and shape of the model on photoshop, like her waist, arms, breast, lips and brows...
