what are some of the advantages/ disadvantages from those of you who may be members. I supplement my income with quinceneras and weddings, I teach full time.. Is there a benefit for me in this organization? I have researched it online and it seems to be helpful. Just trying to get the straight facts from others. Been a while since I've posted. It's great to see some familiar names and a great many new members, way to go! Hope to shoot alongside you all again soon.

Thanks,
Luis Zepeda

The PPA has national, state andsometimes local chapters. For many years I was a member of the local chapter in Orlando , Fl. I attended all the local meetings and learned a LOT. Since I now live in the hinterlands of north Ga, I am not a member.

The One MAJOR benifit of the national group is the liability insurance, I am talking about if, God forbid, a wedding is screwed up. It's no fun being sued, you could loose eveything you own.
