I need some new backgrounds. I've used both paper and muslin, each has pros and cons. What's your favorite, and why?

I like paper. I have no idea why but Muslin makes me think that my grandfather would use it.

I'll second that. I like paper or better yet, an environmental background. Muslin look very ... old school ... very FILM! LOL

LOL I just had to chuckle at this 'cause I actually just shot some film the other day and used a muslin background, lol.

I usually use paper too, but I will say I do like muslin for the reusability. On the other hand, you gotta look out for wrinkles, unlike paper. But then again, if the depth of field is shallow enough, it probably won't matter.

So which is my favorite? I have no idea, lol.
