Hey everybody,

Thought I'd post up this one. This is one from several months back:

We were just kinda messin' around at the time, which is why I didn't really think about posting it before, but the more I look at, the more it kinda grows on me, but anyways, just thought I'd see what y'all think!

Sam

I love polaroids. Nice. Do you do much 4x5 work? How about polaroid transfers. I'm half considering a 4x5 view camera.

Thanks Mark! I don't do a whole lot with large format to be honest, but I'm hoping to change that soon, as I really love the look of a nice good-sized Polaroid. I'm actually (hopefully) going to be shooting some more similar to this tomorrow, along with a little sheet film, too. I've never done a transfer, but it's something I've always wanted to do, just haven't taken the time to try it yet.

You could probably find a good deal on some on eBay. I got mine there, a Calumet Cadet -- nothing fancy, but for $400 plus a lens thrown in, I was sold.

Lovely at first sight, but as I stare at it, I strongly feel a wish for just a little shadow detail on her left side. It could be the digitization.
Thanks for sharing.

Steve -- Thanks!!

John -- Thank you, and I hear about the lack of shadow detail, but alas, I think it wasn't the digitization, but the actual print...

Thanks JW! I'm getting the film back today from a shoot I shot with it on Monday. This was actually my first time shooting sheet film before (I'd always used Polaroids on LF), and I just discovered yesterday that I didn't exactly load the film in the holders correctly, so we'll see if anything actually turned out, haha.
