But I believe the rules clearly state that distracting your opponent is unfair.
Nice work.

Well I misread the title...I thought it read CHEST Lovers...so I quickly opened it...and while I may have "mis-read" it...my reading error did not lead to disappointment...and CHEST Lover would still apply here...hehehehehe

Nicely done Roger

In all seriousness, I AM a chess lover and the captain of an International chess team representing no less than ten countries. This lovely lady could certainly distract me in a game of chess. I'd make a comment about being check mated but it probably wouldn't be in the best interests of the forum!

Interestingly enough, her bra seems to be glowing in the dark. Looks like the levels were cranked up for the whites. It creates an aura around her right hand. Intentional or not, I like the effect. Some would say it's blown out real bad but I kind of like how it works with the image. To each his own, eh?

Very nice shot! Thanks for sharing.

Good day!

Mike

It was intentional. I used the Glamour Glow effect from my CEP 3.0 (formerly NIK Color Efex which I've been using for many years).
Cheers,
rfs

I don't know much about chess, but Dee was fun to work with!

A question for you...

I'm pretty sure this image was made in 2005 (since I was at the same RG workshop), yet you have the copyright set as 2007. Is this because you created the derivative work this year? I was always under the impression that the (c) was granted and set at the time of original creation. Can you shed some light (pun intended) on the subject?

The copyright of any work of art can be considered the time of creation. Since this one was created in the last few days, I could use the 2007 copyright date. I generally use the current year copyright date for any photo I produce since each one will have something done to it generally (new crop, etc) that makes it a "new" work.
Cheers,
rfs
