Last year, about this same time, I started a thread on using "lights as props". I thought I'd bring the thread back to life and perhaps others could share some of their work in this genre. Here is a link to the original thread:

The model is Kristen. The question is --- do you know what the prop is in this case?

I'm sure many of you have some fine examples of this type of work, so why no post them here.

It is a ring flash of some indeterminate brand. I used a ring flash (of some indeterminate brand) last year at the Philly workshop to try to create a sort of voyeuristic shot of Amy in the shower as if the viewer were spying through a peephole. I can't post it here because it is a nude. Direct link to it in my G1 portfolio:
