When a photographer obtains the ability of possessing photographic style, I like to think of it as the coming of age, or manhood, of that person's photographic career. (Please, not trying to sound chauvinistic here, so don't go there.)

So here are my thoughts on my blog, would love to hear your thoughts, either here or on my blog comments. Thanks, rg sends!

Trying to understand why a post would be made here referencing something on a blog, rather than just making the comments here?

We don't mind referencing blogs, only other forum posts. A blog is usually written in a "non-forum" style of writing. My blog approach is personable and certain things I want to keep as blog posts not forum posts. Blogs usually belong to one owner, his or her thoughts, and in my case, obviously my thoughts and on occasion I will share them (by linking) to this forum and others. By accumalating posts on my blog, it in effect culminates the style of the blog.

Sometimes blogs contain information worth discussing on the forums. Either way, the option was given, discuss it here or there, so feel free to discuss your opinions on style here too. Thanks, rg sends!

as someone who has been blogging for quite some time, i've often referenced my updates here and on other forums. usually, however, it's something that's said or being talked about on a forum that inspires me to write about it on my blog, rather than the other way around. course, that's just me.

I have to agree with your definition of style Rolando, becuase if I read it right, since it's based on your life experience, your style can change over time depending on your life's experiences.
