Nicely done by all.

The photo has good balance between the two of them, they seem very comfortable and the setting is very serene.

My only nit is the cool color of the dresses, I would warm the white balance just a bit to reduce the blue hue. That is purely a subjective liking and matter of taste.

OK so maybe I am missing something here. Everyone is saying "nice shot" or "nicely done." I see two gals with lost expressions on their face just standing there. The lighting and exposure is pleasing, but what are they doing? What is the emotion?

My obligatory image post:

For me regardless of the expressions, this is a good photograph, the setting colors and overall look of it works.

No, it is a photograph that could have been good, except for the lifeless models. The expression of the model on the left is particularly bland. She looks dumbstruck, frozen in mid thought. The posing of both is somewhat lifeless. That is the real problem. You are correct in that the setting and colors and overall look works great, but the most important element is missing.

I agree the photo is nice, but not great. Its that "look" that only some of us can pull out of the models. (I am not in that group).

I do need to point out that a swan is basically a white goose which is basically a big duck. So I request you change the name to a snowy egret and a great egret. (snowy has a dark bill and a great has a yellow) [grin]
