Stunning Shana

Here is another natural light image from the Positive Negatives Caribbean Models and Photographers Cruise. This is the stunning Shana Jolie of Maryland, photographed in Key West, the first stop of our 5-day cruise.

I agree - your use of light is amazing. How were things situated that you got such nice, even lighting under her hat brim?

This is the original set up. Shana was against a building in open shade, with a white building across from us, acting as a natural reflector. I took an incident meter reading from underneath her chin, and shot in manual of course, at the meter's exposure and shutter speed reading. When your meter and equipment are calibrated properly, you can trust your meter.
