Girl on a Bench

I haven't posted any pics in a while altho I've shot quite a few. Here's one from last night that I kinda like. MUA Vera, Model Devin, Canon 5D w/85mm prime, ISO 100, f/5.6 @ 125, some lights, some reflectors, some freckles.

Lighting is spot on! And your model did a great job also. It's refreshing seeing some not so post processed images. Beautiful work Jimmy. If you get a chance post a couple more.

Very nice, IMO. Thanks for sharing.
(Does make me realize how hard hands are to do gracefully when grasping something.)

I am not a big fan of the back of the hand and knuckles towards the camera. I also would have loved to see a tad more lighting in the left eye.

I DO love freckles!!

Me too. But I can't envision how to position the hand otherwise for this image without awkward angles or unnatural bends. Yet I like the general pose. Got any advice?

To me the whole arm looks a bit too masculine. Can't quite tell what she is laying on or holding onto to offer any suggestions.

I like the lighting on the hair...I am not a fan of freckles. Just as an observation, the pose compresses her torso from my point of view. Also, the crop at the bottom of the dress distracts my eyes trying to figure out if there are two knees there. I think I would clone out the back of the bench as the catch light on it pull my eyes from her. Regards, the other "Jimmy"

at first, I read "girl on a BEACH" and was very disappointed at the lack of sand in this shot...

but then I realized.
