The models name is Pepper. This was shot with the mix of natural light and off camera flash mounted on a tripod.

She's a neat model - I like her look. Personally, I prefer the composition of #2. Hmm...have you tried converting it into black and white? Might be interesting. =)
Other than that, I'd suggest lowering the opacity of your editing layer (assuming you're using some form of photoshop) to make any skin corrections less evident.

Personally, I prefer the framing that includes the environment. That's a cool location! The way she's holding her right arm is a bit weird. I think I would'a had her move forward a half a step, to the corner of the wall, so she could open that arm up and reveal her shoulder, but maybe that's just me.
