I had a friend help me set up my website. I have forgotten how to change photos on my website. Pretty dumn huh. Well I have a nice pic I want to post for all of you to see. There is already one thing I would have done differently had I reshoot it. Lower the lights to catch the eyes better. But thats one of the reasons for workshops. To learn. And I was going to link it to here for you to see from my site. It was my first scan from the workshop. Many more to come, and many are probably better. The model goes by the name of X.

In my opinion workshops are to get new ideas, new information.

Networking. No matter how big or small the group is. You will meet new models and photographers.

Create friends. Its always good to shoot the stuff.

See different equipment, hopefully the moderators should have variety.

At this workshop it was my first full nude shoot. I think it went well. The artistic black and white negatives look great.

Create business friends. You might be presented with a project that you are not comfortable shooting, but someone else will jump for it. Example Rolando might not be comfortable shooting in haunted houses. I live for it. In fact in October in Newton, Iowa former home of Maytag Appliances Mfg. is a former mental institution that will be turned into a commercial haunted house. I can't wait to get my film burning through that.

FYI Rolando I only mentioned your name 1. because you are the owner of this site. 2. I would imagine that you are comfortable enough with your photography to know that I am not taking a personal jab at you. 3. You are not known to do anything remotely close to haunted. 4. The only thing that was haunted at your workshop was when the light fell over. That was scary, you must admit. The good thing is no one got hurt. I did like your safety tip with the studio lights as I do not own studio lights yet.

Which brings me to this part. Shooting in haunted houses can be dangerous to yourself and equipment. Rugged cases are a must. Portability is a must and you need to be self sufficient with any additional lighting. IE use cordless drill flashlights. They are handy, come free with cordless drills, rechargeable and you get lots of light. If you dont find me handsome, at least you find me handy. Yes, I watch the Red Green Show.

Go to models, and it is the first photograph in the top left corner. Like I said, had I reshoot it again I would lover the light to get more light in her eyes.

Went to your site. The home page has text on it, but I have no idea what it says as it was too small to read. The menus didn't seem to work properly and sometimes the photos would break up. I found what I think was the photo you were talking about (the one of Amy), but it was really too small to evaluate. Your best bet, is to upload some photos into your G1 portfolio. Size them to about 600 x 400 for best viewing.

I went to the site and didn't find any model photos, then read where rfs did, and took it as a challenge. Your thumbnails don't show on my screen, just little squares.

As for the photos, for their purpose on the site, the photos aren't too small, but to ask for comments they are. I agree with you about not enough light in her eyes (even small, that one is pretty obvious) . The best way to get the light in her eyes, however, might make a good debate. *grin*
