A couple of small things:

Your model looks a little stiff in the first shot. She comes across much more relaxed and natural in the second shot, but unfortunately she appears to only have one leg.

Watch your backgrounds. (I have this problem a lot.) In the first shot, the trunk of the (really) large tree is distracting. The plain concrete in the second shot isn't as nice as the foliage or rocks in the first.

Photographing a model in front of a red convertible with the top up is a felony in 37 states for a reason. You risk getting your artistic license suspended or revoked.

Nice use of a cloudy day. I wish we had a few more of those here without too much humidity to shoot outside.

I like the shots ! Can you tell me how you were able to get such nice color tone on a cloudy day ? Did you use lights or was it natural lighting ?

In the first image the model looks short and squatty, like maybe she's 4'10".
Get down low and shoot up to oncrease the preception of her height.

In the second image I would retouch the spills on the concrete.

She is only about 4'10" to 5' tall and I was already laying on the pavement as it was. Have the dirt on my shorts to prove it. 8>)

I used a fill flash on the camera at full power to help get more light on these. Probably didn't do much for the car but she was close enough to get use of that.
Thanks

Hi,

I really like your first picture. With regard to the tree trunk, I think we sometimes use rules too much. With a bit of creativity, you can look upon it favorably. The car symbolizes beauty, strength, and speed. The tree trunk symbolizes longevity, endurance, and strength. Both seem to share masculine traits.

Granted, it might have been better had the tree not be present. But I wouldn't apologize for it. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.

Great shot!

Best regards,
Kevin
