Simple. I rely on natural reflectors. Buildings, fences, streets, open sky...andthing that reflects in her eye. It's not hard to do. You just have to pay close attention to what she "sees." You have to be aware of what is behind her (so there's separation from the backdrop) and what's in front of her (to create catch lights).

Another question, if I may, what is your view on cutting off a portion of the head? Obviously, since one of your photos does cut through the model's head, you are okay with it. Do you have any guidelines or rules-of-thumb that you follow? There was an earlier thread where this topic was discussed (http://www.glamour1.com/forums/main-...-cropping.html).

Hmm..no rule of thumb for me. It's more of a feeling, and when I crop an image, I determine what really is important to the image and what isn't.

Another set of great images just straight from the camera. Just curious if you are going to throw in a workshop on outdoor shooting for those of us on the Caribbean Cruise workshop? Doing a workshop on the top deck during the cruise would be super nice. Actually any time any pointers given will be appreciated.
