It has been forever since I've posted any new work so here are a few images from the past month. How am I doing?

Hmm, yeah, I guess that is a weakness of mine I need to work on, I need to read expressions better because I like the serious grumpy face, so need to try to find the slightly less grumpy serious face.

So once I get past my grumpy british fetish then what?

Why get past it? Why not use it? Why not make it the theme that defines your work? We all need a point of view - what's wrong with " Bitchy Brit?"

I can handle that, I guess I misread the original comment, I believed it to be a bit more cynical than you possibly meant it, though it is all good I can take it either way. I think my biggest issue is becoming comfortable with my point of view.

One technical question, I've gotten some feedback that the first 3 images are dark, they don't feel that way to me (possibly the first one a touch) but as a check of my technical abilities are they coming across as darker than would be appropriate.

Hi Gary,..They don't look dark to me, but they lack a little contrast to me,..to make them stand out a little more. But that's my taste, everybody's taste is different.
Nice to see you posting, keep it up.

To my British grumpy eyes your pictures don't look to dark but lack the pop a little more contrast might give them
