I thought this blog on People magazine's no makeup, unretouched images of the stars was interesting. Most of the images would get shredded here in the Critiques forum. Have fun....

And what we can see, we suspect might be concealed with a soft-focus filter. Notice how her hair is super sharp, but her skin seems pore-less? She could be totally blessed, or the filter could be blurring it smooth

I like to know where can I buy a filter, that makes the skin smooth, but the hair "super" sharp.

Something from the Minolta Portrayer P series. Possibly a #2.

How many times do we shoot models without make up though? Pretty useless tool in glamour photography in my opinion.

Of course, the other side of this question, is how many times we have to shoot models with less than adequate makeup?
Cheers,

Assuming that by glamour you mean extremely idealized, appearing flawless and perfect, then sometimes makeup doesn't take care of everything. Just because digital means that post processing is easy doesn't mean we can't use older techniques that get it right in the camera. That being said, I haven't pulled my Portrayers out of their case since the day I went digital.

I don't think I used my Tiffen softFX filters either. If I would post a picture on here with it, people might say it's out of focus.
