first one really is nice. on the last 2, the fence interferes with the overall image. Is there any way to shoot these and "cheat" some foliage in front of the fence, or light it strong enough that the fence goes darker?

nice stuff, and model is hot.

lol ya that damn fence...my back yard definitly isnt a photo shoot prime location..DeAnn hosed the fence down with water making it dark. I had limited to shade to work with as this was 1:30 in the afternoon...and the shade was so close to fence. I wanted to get her far away from it and blur it completely.but room was limited..hince why I change locations and lighting set up. agree with you Glenn about the fence. these were practice lighting shots as you know Im slowly getting out of the studio and wanted to try some lighting outdoors, so that my time isnt limited to the golden hours..Thanks Glenn! again I dont like the fence either! lol!

Don.

next suggestion would be to have her right on it and use it as an element of the image, maybe lighting it harder and allowing the wood texture to be part of the image.

I think the fence in the background looks fine. The darker color of the fence brings out the flesh tone of the model, or in the following image, the lighter color of the fence also brings out the flesh tone of the model.
