Okay, so here are two more shots from the Philly workshop. I'm trying to work on my editing skills and would like your opinions. What do you think of the color on both?

Of course, any advice or tips to make them better would be, as always, HIGHLY appreciated!

Thanks, and have an awesome day

Love the poses, Kimberly. The color of the first one is really different than the colors you have been posting. It's a cooler cast, but I prefer them that way. From certain angles it appears slightly green, but I think that's my screen. Straight on it looks great. I like the cooler tones on that turquoise dress. If it prints OK I'd say go with it.

The inclusion of the headboard in the second gives it a nice, different feel than most of the shots on that set. And Hillary looks great in sepia.

Malloy has been poking her head in here lately so I'd love to hear what she thinks.

Thanks, Tom! Yeah, I really like the color on both but especially the Hil pic. I think I'm getting better at the whole editing thing

First images is definitely GREEN. Nothing subtle there. Is your monitor calibrated? Please post an original capture and let us try our hand at color balancing it for you.

I think the sepia came out well. Good exposure and skin tones as well.

Cool--so here's the original. Fix away but tell me what you did as well so I can learn from my mistakes.

The original is much better. I found that, on that set, the Photoshop auto white balance in the RAW converter gave the same greenish results. "As shot" looked better. I shot mine at Nikon "cloudy."

This one, from the same lighting, has a cooler cast, but not as green. Although I must say I like the color in your second (original) one better than mine.

Dear Damaged,

I think the second posting (original capture) looks great! So what did you do to it to get it to the #1 position?

It(#2) may be "too orange", but I like them that way. I really can't think of anything to add. It may be a touch too yellow. The other's are more natural, but most of my clients like to look "tan."

What do both images look like to you?

If you like the first one and don't see the green, then the only thing I can think of is that your monitor has fallen out of calibration and you need to re-calibrate.
