After the recent Philly RG workshop, any one getting Hansel light? I know of at least one was getting it, but not sure.

Please contact me if you are, I want to compare notes and make my final selection. Thanks.

I made in investment in Elinchrom lights about 5 years ago. They're great lights and have not yet let me down, so I can't see reinventing the wheel. I've always gotten great results with the right light modifiers.

My only complaint lies in the age (generation) of the lights as they are not digital in respect to the light output settings. I my grab one of their "BX" series lights for studio work as they'll drop to 1/10th power vs 1/4 power and they're digital!

Igor,

The kit that you are buying does not appear to have the wireless remote control

http://www.samys.com/product_detail.php?item=4857

The kit that comes with the remote is not listed in Samy’s. Cat # is 7338815SW

http://www.henselusa.com/integra_proplus_kit.html

I am most likely buying the two-light kit with remote (7048815SW). Learning using one light is hard enough, so I wanted to go slow. Getting a Hensel beauty dish free is the objective of getting the kit.

Oh, BTW the beauty dish promotion is sponsored by Hensel.

It does not mean that I encourage othersto buy from somewhere else. I would rather give Rolando and Samy’s the credit. And besides, the shipping is the same either buying from Samy’s or other east coast places.

People have mentioned the Hensel accessories are expensive. Can other manufacture stuff can fit into Hensel light? I am thinking about the softbox and grids.

Since the kits come with a very small softbox and not much of a use.

Cheers.
