Here are a couple of the images I shot at the Philly workshop this past weekend with Rolando - model is Chelsie Ann.

Shot in the Square Flourescent light cage. This was my first seminar with Rolando and it was thoroughly enjoyable!

I like the way you turned her shoulder, Jeff. That, and her expression, makes her look more "sultry." You got a completely different look out of the exact same setup.

My version is a little more on the pretty (cute) side. Either way, she's a joy to work with.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the cudos... Se was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was stunned by the figure nudes I did with her later (I can't post them here but in a day or so in the Nude forum).

I took some time to email all 5 of the models and thank them for their time, talent and most important, their patience with me. It was a experience I won't soon forget and will put the things I learned into practice with my bridal budoir sessions.

The "sultry" shot is one of my "signature shots" - the brides love them and I think it brings out the eyes and the attitude without giving up too much - if you catch my meaning. You can see the bust line, but not truly see it ;-)

Thanks again!
Jeff

looks as if non-photo fluorescent lights with a poor color rendition were used. Am I right? It just has that tell-tale inaccurate and unpleasing skin-tone.

Hi Trasvbd,
Actually these were dayllight balanced flourescent bulbs and we were shooting at 5900k - so I would say that all 3 color shots you see from 3 different photographers were accurate - whether or not your LCD/CRT is displaying them properly is an unknown to me.

So IMHO the statement about color inaccuracy would be false. If the tubes weren't daylight balanced and we shot them as such then the color shift (white balance) would be ugly!

Ditto, Jeff. I knew I should have asked someone to pop off a quick headshot of me.

BTW, I'm the one RG kept referring to as the forensic guy.

My bad...
Ahhhemmm! I must publicly thank and acknowledge Steve for his wonderful yet sinister picture of me that is now my avatar. I would've put a photo credit, but it was too small ;-)

Thanks again Steve - and anytime you need a model for a head shot (a really, really BIG head shot) let me know

Hey Tom,
Are you the active NYS Trooper or the retired Sheriff's forensic photographer?
