Some shots of a new model, Savanna, taken earlier this week. Four hours of shooting and still smiling.

I really like both of these images....you've done a very nice job and captured both the beauty of the model and the scenery.

However..in the first image....from the hem of the skirt down...it looks distorted...not sure if its because of the white, the flash, shadows...but you may want to crop the image right at the hem of her skirt. Otherwise...beautiful shot!

Love the colors in the second shot....beautiful model as well!

These are both nice and she looks great but I think she needs to hold still while your shutter is open. It looks like she moved a little after the flash went off.

Both are very nice. I agree with the comment about the crop on the first image. I hope to try some shots like these later this summer. Would you mind sharing the lighting, shutter speed, and aperture for the second shot? Thank you.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions, keep them coming.

I had an WL1600 set to my left about 15deg offset and about 20' from the subject bare bulb, metered to 7.1 with a sheet of bastard amber over the flash cone. Camera settings were on an Olympus E500:

Exposure time: 1/160
F-stop: 7.1
ISO speed: 100
Focal length: 43.0000

I have to say that the second shot is excellent. Both poses are good, but in the first one, her skirt looks like it's bleeding out (the whites that is.) You got her eyes to pop out in the second one, something that not all can accomplish, good job sir.
