I have mine...am poking around with it as time permits. I am having trouble figuring out the way to print with it. CS2 has picture packages which are helpful...I can't seem to find those in Lightroom.

It apears to be a program that can really solve my work flow issues....However the printing component apears to have missed the mark.

I have it and like it a lot. But the only way to really tell if you're going to like it may be to watch some lightroom tutorials. There's a bunch out there right now if you'll Google.

I've played with it a bit, but also played with the Beta of CS3 and since the CS3 beta incorporates many of the Lightroom features (especially in RAW processing), I've been holding off on Lightroom. Will have more to say after the official release of CS3 beta.
Cheers,
rfs

I have it and love it. No matter how good CS3 will be. For image organizing the $199.00 price worth every penny of it.

Some of the features I like so far better than CS2 is
batch editing
sensor dust cloning
crop / straightening
web gallery

I bought Lightroom. I have only used it for about 30 days but the interface is quite easy to use and the "Web" section is much faster than bridge for creating web galleries.

Yes I think it is a great tool, just keep in mind that it is not intended to replace or match up with photoshop cs3. You can get it for $99.00 at www.journeyed.com if you have a kid in school or attending school yourself, all you need is a school id. It's the same version you would pay full price for.

cheers!

We all have different ways of working and different needs for archiving but for me, it really works.

I have about 5k images and I use a Mac.

It is a 1.0 release and I'm sure Adobe is working on fixing the issues that have popped up since release.

Headshot customers are always asking "can I see those two next to each other? Can I see this one in B/W? Can you fix that zit? OK, set that aside for now and make this my favorite. Can I have these 6 on a website to show my agent? Can I take a contact sheet of these 6" and all that stuff is easy with LR.
