My father is creating for me a stained glass table with the theme of cameras. I can do a total of 7 cameras. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for cameras.

So far for cameras I have the following. Brownie Holiday my fathers first camera, Exacta VX it was my grandfathers. Brownie Reflex my mothers first camera. One of my Leica cameras, either the R8 or Leicaflex. I need the possibility of 3 more cameras to possibly use for templates. No I don't need the actual camera, just an image, or an idea of a camera, then I can google search it on the internet. We are going for primarily shape on these cameras. For details we can print off decals etc and place them appropriately. Thanks for your time guys.

Perhaps a Polaroid camera would add to the mix. They are quite distinctive and played a major part in modern photography for a long period of time. You might also want to consider a medium format camera since they played and still play an important role in the photographic community.
Cheers,
rfs

I'd say an early Polaroid with the folding bellows such as a model 95, an early wood view camera, one of the SLR's that popularized advanced amateur photography such as a Nikon F series or maybe a Minolta SRT 101 or Canon A1, or perhaps a miniature camera such as a Minox.

Then there are the stange looking early "detective" cameras, any of Kodak's now deceased box, 110, disc, instamatic, or instant cameras, or maybe just a Kodak logo since it was synonomous with photography for years.

Lots of possibilities...

I'm thinking Speed Graphlex and a Twin Lens Reflex?

I agree with Al_Nowak, I like the idea of a Nikon F series, but I do have to throw the idea of a Leica in there. I mean, the first 35mm camera, that played a massive role in photography today.

I'll second the Speed Graphic, especially with the big ol' "press" flashgun. And maybe an Argus C3 or C4.

If you can't find an image on the web, I could probably shoot a quick shot of mine for you. (I have all three.)
