On Sunday night I was the model for a photographer friend of mine and it was an interesting experience. I, like many photogs, prefer to be behind the camera where I'm far more comfortable. But I intended some of the images to be used on an eventual website and, of course, to send to my parents & siblings.

One thing I did learn from this is just how hard it is for a model to understand what the photographer wants when given direction. How much turning is too much or too little...chin down, chin up. Where are my hands and what are they doing? Try to watch that the material doesn't bunch up, etc. etc. Plus my back and legs started aching from the standing. I certainly now have a lot more respect for models and their efforts.

So from that shoot, I present...Photographer as Model

Oooops....
Photographer is Mona Kayello of West Vancouver, BC, Canada
(although I don't think she'd want to claim this image as an example of her work... LOL)

Thanks.
When I go for the properties of the image that you got to show up the address is the same. (I also tried without the "[img][/img]"...no go)

I figure that "Insert Image" means being able to browse my computer, find an image and include it inline...not to use an URL to the image.

What I did was open your link in a new page, I then copied the entire address, went back to the first page, clicked reply, then on the little yellow icon that looks like a mountain and sun, pasted the address into the little pop-up window that appears, clicked ok. It's always a good idea to preview the post before submitting to check if your photo is going to show up as you desired.

Looking at your top post, it appears that you have a hyperlink inside the [ img ] tags.

I think your method would have worked except you needed to DESELECT "Automatically parse links in text" before hitting the submit button.

In other words, your link became a hyperlink before it became an image. A hyperlink inside img tags won't work. So you need to either use the "buttons" to insert your image or you need to remember to deselect "Automatically parse links in text".

Hope that helps.

I love the deep wrinkles and the character of your face..almost kinda like a leather or weathered look.

Ahhh, that would be due to having been born and raised in the desert-like area of the Palliser Triangle...where the wind blows everyday from all directions and the sun beats down most unmercifully upon Saints and Sinners alike. The hot dry air really did a job on me and even now after nearly 20 years in this temperate and often moist environment sometimes known as LaLaLand those formative lines and the tanning effect of the sun of my youth still have a haggard hold upon my face...

.
.....But you do have to admit it's the most lovely shade of brown you might ever see.

LOL
