Image of Ginger from HTLVI - reprocessed.

Is there an easy way to get rid of or at least minimize the Moire' in the fishnet on her upper chest area.

Regards,

John

I don't think its that noticable. But you can paint the area with a light about of gausian blur if you want to do that. But if you just play with the contrast a bit in curves, I think you get a better pop from the photo.
Cheers,

Thanks

Tried bumping up the curves a little along with a little selective color. I think I like the overall exposed skin tones a little better. But not sure about the skin under the the tight weave fishnet, the came out a little too light. I'll keep playing

Is the Moire pattern apparent in the full size image?

I don't think you can get rid of it in compressed sizes, although you ought to try different sizes and see which minimizes the effect. It's caused by the compression interacting with the regularly space mesh of her top - certain compressions will give stronger effects than others. You can minimize it's appearance by shadowing the area, though.

FWIW, I really like the first version.

FWIW I like the first image better (fits your title) but I do like getting rid of the cigarette as in the second image.

Nice work.

Thank You sir,

I tried several sizes but the Moire' still visiable. Also visable in the original Nef file. I'll see if I can burn that area in a little bit to even it out.

Thanks,

At 1st the cigarette didn't really bother me but the more I looked at the image the more it did.

I guess am somewhere in between the 1st and 2nd image a little more color in the flesh tones than in the 1st but not as much as in the second, and probably not as much of the gaussian blur as in the second. Definitely need to burn in the skin under the mesh in the Upper torso.
