For several months now I've been seeing a Google ad that appears at the top of many of the pages on G1 that says "Free Download". So I went to it and downloaded the software called "Portrait Professional". My first impression is why would someone want to go through what it makes you go through especially when the results are not that good. Take look at some of their samples.

But beyond that, they don't actually provide you software that will even work should they go out of business etc. Each time you reach the end of their wizard, it then send the results to their web server for processing and then send the image back to you.

Anyway, I wondered if others had tried this and what you might think?

Cheers,
rfs

RFS,

I checked this out a while back and it looked interesting. I wasn't getting the warm fuzzy from it so I haven't bothered with it since. Besides I want to try and get it close to perfect in the camera. Thanks for your input on this product.
