I shot with two new models yesterday, the day after they finished Final Exams. These gals are troopers!

your mainlight seems to have missed its target as most clearly illustrated in #s 3 and 4.

Yes, the lights seems off on all of them to me. The poses are very nice except for #3. So with the proper attention to the lighting ratio you have some great shows going for you.

I just shifted my Explorer window off my big CRT and onto one of my LCDs, and the shoulders do appear to be blown-out on an LCD. Oops.

I was actually aiming a light at the shoulder in each of those shots (3 & 4), trying for a "little something different," with the faces at the edge of the light-pool created by the 10-degree grid. Failed miserably, apparently, since most people are using LCD screens these days.

If you have a CRT on your system, please take a look there and let me know if you like my crazy idea any better. I've not yet printed anything, so I can't say how it looks on paper.

Thanks.

I think the second one is the most successful - it's an effective image. Not a fan of the blown-out shoulders on the last two, although I do like blown out highlights sometimes:

(the model is Lucie, a dancer, but you probably guessed that )
